The consortium of the Libraries of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region was established on 5 September 2003 at the initiative of rectors of higher education in Kujawsko-Pomorskie.

The consortium consists of state universities in Bydgoszcz and Torun:

The objective of the Consortium is to cooperate with libraries in the region, especially in the area of ​​digital content creation, information sharing, the promotion of science and education in the region and the adaptation of libraries to European Union standards.
