Nikolai Blachhin
Nikolai Nikolayevich Blachhin (Russian: Николай Николаевич Блохин, born May 3, 1912 in Lukojanov, died May 16, 1993 in Moscow) is a Russian surgeon and oncologist, Hero of Socialist Labor (1972). From 1916 in Nizhny Novgorod, in 1929-1934 he studied medicine in Nizhny Novgorod / Gorky, worked in the hospital, later as a physician and assistant to the surgical and surgical catheterization of the Gorkowski Medical Institute. From July 1944 to January 1945 he worked as a trainee in hospitals in the USA, from 1947 to 1952 he was a professor at the Medical Institute in Gorky, and in 1948 he was the organizer of the Gorkim Research Institute for Reconstructive Surgery. Since 1952, Director of the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Oncology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR, Moscow, Member of the Academy, since 1962 Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 1960 the academy of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR, since 1991 the dormitory of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in 1977-1987 president of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR.
