Zwięczyca (Rzeszów)

Zwięczyca - a district of Rzeszów, created after joining the city of the village of Zwięczyca. The Ministry of the Interior and Administration issued a negative decision regarding the connection of the then village of Zwięczyca to Rzeszów on January 1, 2007. The district expanded by the entire existing village as of January 1, 2008. Before joining the village, Zwięczyca belonged to the commune of Boguchwała.

Here is the seat of the parish of St. Józef, belonging to the deanery of Boguchwała, the Diocese of Rzeszów.

In 1979 Zwięczyca was awarded the Partisan Cross.

The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus.
