People's Union of Women


The People's Confederacy of Women - a conspiratorial organization of the popular movement created during the Second World War.

The association was formed in January 1942, dealing with the underground communications network, distribution of the Central Management of the Roch and Peasant Battalions, and the care of families murdered and imprisoned by the Germans. The organization also provided food for some BChs and conducted cultural and educational work.
