Dedo II
Dedo II (born 1040, died in 1069) - Marquis of Lusatia from 1046 (with a break in 1069). Curriculum vitae Dedo was the eldest son of Margrave Losede Dedo and of the Vassile family and his first wife, Odysseus, the daughter of Margrave Lusatia Thietmar II. Young Dedo II remained close to the Prince of Bavaria Otto II of Norhteim. In 1069 the King of Germany Henry IV IV Salicki, disqualified from Dedo I, gave his son the Lusatian March. Shortly thereafter, in the same year, Dedo II was murdered. Contemporaries suspected that Dedo II's stepmother, Adela of Louvain, could have been behind this murder. After the death of Dedo II the Marchus Lusatian returned to his father. Bibliography Authoritative control (person):
