Close to the flowers of the clergy rhymes about the child Jesus
The songs of the cycle refer to the poetry of Songs over songs, using religious conventions of love poetry. In the poems an important place is occupied by the theme of the happy childhood of Jesus. The author describes the fun of the little Jesus, encourages the sharing of happiness and personal conversation with God. The poems contain numerous diminutives, toposs, including those from the Christian tradition (eg, the comparison of Jesus to the america), and the motifs characteristic of Baroque literature (eg, the selection of fortune props).
