Chthonic deities
Czerniewice - a village in Poland located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Włocławek Poviat, in the municipality of Choceń.
In 1975-1998, the administrative district was Włocławek Province. According to the National Census (III 2011), it had 1,020 inhabitants. It is the second largest municipality of the Choceń commune.
In the years 2001-2012 meat plants operated in the village. they are closely related to Mother Earth cult, from which they have probably evolved. An important point here is the identification of the Earth with the womb of a woman: a man is born from the womb of a mother-woman, to return to the womb of Mother Earth after death (death seen as a return to "home"). This underlines the inseparable connection between birth and death, which man probably realized along with the discovery of agriculture and the perception of analogy between human life and plant life - fragile, but constantly reborn from the womb of the earth.
