Language combination
The linguistic combination is all languages that a translator uses professionally. The following classification of languages is taken from the definition adopted by AIIC, International Association of Conference Interpreters.
Retour (pronounced retur) is a word borrowed from French. It means that the translator works on the B language not only consecutively but also simultaneously. Example: "I know that you work from English to Polish, but do you also do retour?"
