Jochen duration


Jochen Dauer (born 10 January 1952 in Nuremberg) is a German racing driver. Founder of the former World Sportscar Championship team - Dauer Sportwagen. Career

Dauer started his career in international car races in 1975, starting with the German Formula 3. He scored 13th in the overall classification. Three years later in the same series was the fourth. In later years, he also appeared in the European Formula 3, German Racing Championship, European Formula 2, Norisring Trophäe, Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, World Sports-Prototype Championship, Supercupo and Interserie Div. 1 (champion in 1988).

In the European Formula 2, Germany started in 1979-1981, but only appeared at the start of the German rounds. The only points he got in the 1980s was when he was in the car Chevron finished his fifth race at the Nürburgring. Two points earned him a place in the final drivers' classification. Bibliography
