Artie Geurkow
Artiemij Grigorjewicz Geurkow (Russian: Артемий Григорьевич Геурков, born 1901, died on September 29, 1937) - a Soviet party and state activist.
From 1919 he belonged to RKP (b), from January 13, 1932 to April 13, 1937 he was the secretary responsible / First secretary of the Auschwitz Communist Party Bolshevik Committee and until September 29, 1937, deputy chairman of the People's Commissars Council of the Georgian SSR. On December 20, 1935, he was awarded the Lenin Order. He died a suicide. Bibliography
