Vincent Wirski


Wincenty Wirski was actually Wincent Georg Olszanski (born 15 February 1915 in Poznan, died 1939) - Polish boxer.

He was a fencer and competitor of the Warta Poznań club, where he got acquainted with the boxing in 1931. Starting in the Polish championship, he became the vice-champion of the country in 1933 in the weight of the mustache, and twice won the championship in 1935 and 1936 in the category of cogs. Six times he won the Polish team championship in 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937 and 1938. He belonged to young, talented Polish boxers.

He died during the September 1939 campaign. Bibliography
