Jarosław Gołembiowski
Jarosław Gołembiowski (born February 10, 1958 in Bielsko-Biała) is a Polish composer, pianist and teacher. A graduate of the State Higher School of Music in Wroclaw. Curriculum vitae
In 1981 he graduated from the Department of Music Education. In 1986 he completed his composition at the same university in the class of Zygmunt Herembesz. In 1981-86 he also took private piano lessons at Włodzimierz Obidowicz and Witold Witkowski in Wroclaw. Since 1986, he lives in Chicago, where he runs his music studio. In 1988 he participated in the Summer Computer Music Course at the University of Chicago. In the years 1990-91 he completed the Suzuki Methodology Course at the Chicago Music Institute in the piano class Yasuko Joichi. In 1999 he participated in the Carnegie Hall Professional Training Workshop (The Ellen Taaffe Zwilich Young Composers Workshop). In 2013 he completed his doctorate at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Bibliography
