Wasilij Aleksandrowicz Shamszyn (Russian: Василий Александрович Шамшин, born 12 September 1926 in Jessentukach, died February 4, 2009 in Moscow) is a Soviet politician. Curriculum vitae Since 1944 he was a technician in the urban radiotranslation network in Moscow, 1945-1949 studied at the Moscow Institute of Telecommunications, later an engineer, senior engineer and research worker in defense industry. Since 1957 a candidate in technical sciences, since 1960 docent, since 1962 a member of the CPSU, 1965-1968 deputy head of the State Research Institute of Scientific Research. From 1968 deputy, 1975-1980 and deputy, and from October 1980 to July 1989 communications minister USSR, then retired. Since 1981 he was an alternate member, and from 1986-1990 a member of the Central Committee of the CPSU. Member of the Verkhovna Rada of the USSR 10 and 11 tenure. Winner of the Lenin Prize. Awarded with Lenin Order, Order of Honor, Order of José Martí and Order of Suche Bator. Bibliography

Dudley Lister
Dudley Lister - English boxer, silver medalist of the 1925 European Championship. In May 1925 he became vice-president of Europe in the heavyweight category. In the semi-finals of the 1925 European Championship he eliminated German nationalist Helmut Siewart, advancing to the finals with Sweden's Brood Persson. In the finals, Lister lost to second place in the heavyweight category, with a limit of +79.4 kg. In total, England won five medals at the European Championships, including two golds. wiki
