Esmé Kamphuis
Esmé Imre Kamphuis (born May 22, 1983 in Zwolle) is a Dutch bobsleigh, Olympic athlete. Career
In the World Cup competition, she made her debut on 11 January 2008 in Cortina d'Ampezzo, finishing in thirteenth place in doubles. On the podium of this cycle for the first time and only on 5 February 2011 in Cesana, where she was second in doubles. Her first career success came in 2011, when she and Judith Vis won the bronze medal at the Winterberg European Championship. This result was repeated three years later by the Dutch championship in Königssee. In 2010 she performed at the Vancouver Olympic Games, finishing eighth in the competition. Four years later, the Sochi games were fourth, losing the second place in the US championship by 0.66 seconds.
