Henryk Kowalczyk (football player)


Henryk Kowalczyk (born July 12, 1951, January 20, 2015) is a Polish football player, defender and coach. Curriculum vitae

He was a pupil of Strzelinski Strzelin, then performed in Wroclaw Lotteries, in the 1974/1975 season he became a Silesian player in Wrocław. In his first season at the club he played only two matches and his team won the bronze medal of the Polish championship. In subsequent years he became the main competitor of his club, won the Polish Cup in 1976, the Polish championship in 1977, the vice-championship of Poland in 1978 and 1982, the bronze medal of the MP in 1980. From Silesia he left the round of the autumn 1982/1983 season. In total he played in 177 matches, scoring six goals.

In the following years he also performed in the Polish community of Sydney and Ślęzy Wroclaw.

As a coach, he was coached by Ryszard Urbanek in Silesian Wrocław. He then led the Polonia Wroclaw, Pogoń Olesnica (which he introduced in the second league in 1994), Sparta Ziębice, Strzelinianka and Świteź Wiązów. Bibliography
