Roman Morawski


Roman Morawski, nickname "Dąbrowa" (born October 11, 1916 in Kalisz, died September 4, 1944 near Warsaw) is a lieutenant of the Polish Army. Platoon Commander 1107 (command platoon) I Division 7th Regiment of Ułanów Lubelskie, participant in the Warsaw Uprising.

In the uprising he fought in the South and in Mokotów. On August 2, 1944, he was injured in a foot in Chojnowski Forest. He died two days later at Magdalene Monastery as a result of a blood infection.

Roman Morawski is buried in the Pruszkow cemetery. Bibliography
