Mikhail Kachiani
Mikhail Ivanovich Kachiani, ruins. Micheil Kachiani (born 1896 in Batumi, died in December 1937) - Soviet and Georgian politician, first secretary of the Communist Party of Bolsheviks of Georgia in 1924-1930. 1915-1917 studied at the Moscow Institute of Commerce, since July 1917 a member of the SDPRR (b), 1917 secretary of the Revolutionary Revolutionary Committee, 1917-1918 member of the SDPRR Committee (b) in Batumi and editor of the newspaper "Rabajaya Truth", 1918-1920 member 1920-1921 editor of the Kommunist newspaper in Baku and member of the Azerbaijani Communist Party (Bolshevik), 1921 secretary of the Georgian Communist Party (Bolshevik) Committee in Tbilisi, 1921-1930 member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party KP (b) G, 1923-1924 CC Secretary. 1924-1930 First Secretary of the Central Committee (b) G. 1927-1930 at the same time III Secretary of the National Committee of the Communist Party (b) in Caucasus. From 13 July 1930 to 26 January 1934 Candidate for a member of the Central Committee of the WKP (b), from 5 May 1931 to 21 January 1933 II Secretary of the National Committee of the WKP (b) in Kazakhstan, 1933 -1934 member of editorial board of "Truth". 1934-1937 Member of the Party Control Committee at KC WKP (b). In July 1937 arrested by the NKVD during Stalinist purges, later shot. Bibliography
