The coat of arms of the commune refers to the Janina coat of arms of the founders of the city of Wysokie and its owners, as well as to the former castle in Wysokie. Above the city, the former castle was built by the Kaszowski family, mentioned in the 16th-17th century, perhaps also serving as the seat of the city authorities.
