Cartridge 9 × 21 mm SP-10
9 × 21 mm SP-10 - Russian rifle pistol.
The SP-10 was constructed in the 1990's as a special-use anti-terror weapon. Founded with potential targets will be protected with light armor and behind the shields. The basic type of projectile is an anti-armor missile with a steel or tungsten core, which makes it possible to pierce two 1.4 mm thick titanium plates each or 30 kevlar layers at a distance of 100 m or 4 mm steel plate at a distance of 60 m.
The SP-10 rounds have a flat trajectory so that effective fire can be made at a distance greater than that of a typical pistol gun.
The SP-10 cartridge is used to power the SPS Giurza gun. The Baksan machine gun was also supplied with this ammunition, but it was not manufactured as standard. Bibliography
