Abigail Van Buren, owner. Pauline Phillips (born 4 July 1918 in Sioux City, January 16, 2013 in Minneapolis) is an American journalist and columnist.

She was born in Sioux City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Russian Jewish emigres. With her twin sister Ann Landers attended Cenral High School and Morningside College. On July 2, 1939, she married Morton Phillips. She was the mother of two children. She died at the age of 94 for Alzheimer's disease. Honors
