Otto Eichelmann


Otto Eichelmann (born April 27, 1854 in St. Petersburg, died on February 12, 1943 in Prague) - lawyer, professor at the University of Kiev.

A specialist in constitutional and international law. In the years 1918-1919 a high official of the government of the Ukrainian People's Republic, including adviser to the Minister of Trade and Industry and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He participated in the economic negotiations of the government of the URL with Austria and Germany, and in talks with Soviet Russia. Author of the Constitution of the Ukrainian People's Republic.

On emigration, professor and dean of the faculty of law of the Free Ukrainian University, and professor of the Ukrainian Higher Pedagogical Institute.
