Hussar from the beginning of the 19th century

Janosz Witeź (Hungarian: János Vitéz), also Wojak Janosz - poem of the Hungarian romantic poet Sándor Petőfi, published in 1845. The song tells the tale of the adventures of a brave hussar who goes to France to go to war with the Turks. The work is written in an octadecimal twelve-syllable.

The poem was translated into Polish by Władysław Sabowski (as Wojak Janosz, 1869) and Seweryn Duchińska (as Janosz Witeź, 1871). Bibliography
