Jakub Kowalski (politician)
Jakub Kowalski (born October 10, 1985 in Radom) - Polish politician and local government official, councilor of Radom, since 2016 head of the Senate Chancellery. Curriculum vitae
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. He also completed post-graduate studies in the field of investment process management at the Warsaw School of Economics.
From 2005, he was a co-worker of law and justice MPs: Marek Suski, Adam Bielan, and Zbigniew Kuźmiuk. In 2006 he became a city councilor in Radom for PiS (he was reelected in 2010 and 2014). In 2010, he became the chairman of the Culture and Promotion Committee in the city council, and became the chairman of the club of councilors of Law and Justice. He was employed part-time in the Municipal Waterworks in Radom as a marketing specialist.
In November 2015 he became the director of the office of the Senate Marshal Stanisław Karczewski, who on June 24, 2016 appointed him as the head of the Senate Chancellery. He replaced Ewa Polkowska in this position.
