Giacomo Leopardi (born December 18, 1928 in Genoa, September 13, 2015 in Rome) is an Italian pharmacist and politician, Member of the European Parliament for the fourth term. Curriculum vitae

From the pharmacist's education. He was a longtime activist of professional self-government. Since 1975 he has headed the Federfarma organization, and in 1985-2009 headed the Federazione Ordini Farmacisti Italiani, a federation of Italian pharmacists' associations. In the years 1994-1999 he held the mandate of the MEP for the fourth term of office, working for the Commission on the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection.
