Frank Renkiewicz


Frank Renkiewicz (born 16 May 1935, died October 11, 1993 in New York) is an American historian of Polish descent, a Polish activist. Curriculum vitae

He graduated from the University of Notre Dame (1967-1967). He was a history professor at the College of St. Thomas. Teresa in Minnesota and Director of Polish Studies in St. Louis. John Fisher College in Rochester. In the years 1969-1983 editor-in-chief of the magazine "Polish American Studies". He also worked at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum as an expert on Polish affairs. Winner of the Haiman Award (1978). President of the Polish American Historical Association (1976).
