Hawiarski Potok
Hawiarski Potok - stream, tributary of the Kacwinianka river. The name Zubrovský potok is on the Slovak map. It flows from several sources on the northern (Polish) slopes of the ridge linking the peaks of Malorówka (957 m) and Zubrovka (834 m) in Magura Spiska on the Polish-Slovak border. The highest located from these sources are located at an altitude of about 800 m. It flows towards the east and at an altitude of about 605 m it flows to the Kacwinianki as its left tributary. This takes place at coordinates 49 ° 21'05 "N 20 ° 17'12" E / 49.9351389 20,286667.
The stream basin is almost entirely located in Poland, only a small part of it in Slovakia. These are mainly forested areas of Magura Spiska, but in the valley of the stream there are large glades. Some of them have their own names: Flisów Las, Za Flisów Las and Polany. The lower part of the Hawiarskie Potok run on the length of 1 km runs the Polish-Slovak border between the towns of Kacwin (on the Polish side) and Wielka Frankowa (in Slovakia). At a distance of about 400 m from her on the Slovak side there are buildings of an agricultural production cooperative.
In the past, hikers in the Tatras and in the Podhale were called miners extracting ores, so the name of the stream may indicate that mining works once took place in its valley.
