Riczard Owinnikow


Riczard Siergiejewicz Owinnikov (Russian: Ричард Сергеевич Овинников, born December 29, 1930 in Voronezh, died 14 January 2002) is a Soviet and Russian diplomat. Curriculum vitae

1953 graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, later became an aspirator; since 1958 he was an employee of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, 1960-1961 was a translator of the USSR's permanent representative to the United Nations. 1961-1966 worked at the UN as First Deputy Secretary of the USSR, 1966-1970 re-worked at the Department of International Organizations of the USSR, 1970-1977 again at the USSR permanent representative to the UN, 1977-1980 advisor to the USSR foreign minister, 1980-1985 deputy permanent representative of the USSR to the UN. From 29 November 1985 to 17 July 1990, rector of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, from 30 October 1990 to 10 February 1992 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR / Russia in Canada.
