Lexus Dynamic Handling

Lexus Dynamic Handling (LDH) - developed by Toyota Motor Corporation, a system that improves maneuverability and stability and precision of driving, especially during dynamic driving.

LDH coordinates a number of vehicle steering systems: VGRS, Variable Gear Ratio Steering, DRS, Dynamic Rear Steering, Variable Gear Suspension (AVS) and Integrated Vehicle Dynamics (VDIM).

The most important function of the LDH is to independently adjust the steering angle of the front and rear wheels according to the driving speed. At speeds up to 80 km / h, the rear wheels are twisted in the opposite direction from the front to increase the maneuverability of the vehicle. Above 80 km / h the rear wheels are turned in the same direction as the front ones by an angle of up to 1.5 degrees, which increases the agility of the car and the precision of its driving.

In addition, depending on vehicle speed, directional changes, steering movements and acceleration and brake pedals, the LDH adjusts the rigidity of the suspension to match the behavior of other active safety systems.

The LDH system was first introduced as an option in the Lexus GS F Sport (MY 2014).
