Elgonidium leleupi - a beetle species from the family of the arteries and the subfamily of Tomoderinae.

This species was described in 1954 by Pierre Basilewsky.

This beetle has a body about 3 mm long and feelers with stems twice longer than wide. On the head has a pair of eyes composed of 3 or 4 facets. The pre-sponge is divided into the front and the back flap with narrowing on the non-sealed edges. The back panel is clearly narrower than the front. The scoring of the top of the pre-bone is small but clear, especially on the posterior face.
