Stop (pismo)


"- a Polish magazine published in Cairo and Rome between 1943 and 1945.

The script was modeled on English illustrated magazines. The first issue was published on April 18, 1943. The editors of the magazine were Władysław Cichy and Zofia Hertz, and the leading journalist Juliusz Mieroszewski. Texts of authors such as Władysław Broniewski, Kazimierz Wierzyński, Artur Międzyrzecki and Tadeusz Wittlin were printed. The script contained richly illustrated news, circulation information, reports and reviews of books, poems and prose. Bibliography
