Karl-Heinz Helbling


Karl-Heinz Helbling (born October 20, 1956 in Wagen - September 30, 1978 in Zurich) is a Swiss cross-country and cross-country cyclist, bronze medalist of the cross-country championship. Career

Karl-Heinz Helbling's greatest success came in 1978, when he won the bronze medal in amateur category at the cross-country championship in Amorebieta. Only Belgian Roland Liboton and Switzerland's Gilles Blaser were ahead of him. It was also eleven in the same category at the World Cup in Hanover last year. He also took part in track cycling, earning the bronze medal of the country championship in the 1978 race start race. He never performed at the Olympic Games. He died in 1978. Bibliography
