Byblis (mitologia)
Byblis (gr. Βυβλίς) - a figure from Greek mythology, the daughter of Miletus and sister Kaunos.
Byblis loved the incestuous love of her own brother. When she confessed his feelings, the terrified man escaped from Miletus and went to Karia, where he founded a town named after him. Despair Byblis had long wandered the world until she finally threw herself to the ground and died of mourning (according to another version she committed suicide by hanging herself). The nymph's mercy turned it into a source.
