Bolesław Łaszewski
Bolesław Łaszewski (born on November 22, 1912 in Góra Ropczycka, near Sędziszów Małopolski, died on March 29, 2013 in New York) - an American Polonia activist.
Curriculum vitae Before 1939 he studied Polish philology at the Jagiellonian University. Participant of the September campaign, then in the Polish Armed Forces in the West. After the war he remained in exile in Great Britain. He was active in the Association of Polish Combatants and the Union of Polish War Relief in Belgium and Great Britain. He was also the vice-president of the World Union of Poles from Abroad. From 1951 in the USA. In the years 1989-1990 he was the executive director of the Polish Institute of Science in America.
