This photographer is based on the facts and the story of the trip of French photographer Didier Lefèvre in 1986 to Pakistan and Afghanistan occupied by the Soviet Union. Lefèvre joins a group of Doctors Without Borders on a mission and photographs their work in providing medical care to the local villagers in a primitive way. The man is gradually absorbed in the charm of Afghanistan and his guides to the culture and nature of the country are accompanied by doctors. reviews

The photographer was very well received by international critics, and in 2007 he was awarded at the International Comic Book Festival in Angoulême. The reviewers' attention was particularly drawn to comic drawings mixed with supplementary black-and-white narration of Lefèvre's footage and the hasty pace of action. Polish comic portal alejakomiksu.pl has recognized the photographer as the best comic book released in Poland in 2013.

Myrmex Indikos, pol. Indian ant - an alleged species of gigantic ants (according to Herodot's description, larger than foxes, but smaller than dogs). The earliest mention of these creatures is dated to the fifth century BC, and its author is Herodotus. According to her, these ants inhabited the deserts of Persia and India and extracted gold from their sands. Several such creatures were kept in the residence of the King of Persia. Gold was to be obtained by caravans made up of several camels in the heat of the day, when the ants were protected underground.
