Jochen Neerpasch


Jochen Neerpasch (born March 23, 1939 in Krefeld) is a German manager and racing driver. Career

Neerpasch started his career in international car racing in 1962 from the start of the World Sportscar Championship, where he did not earn points. In later years Germany also appeared in the European Touring Car Championship, the 24-hour Le Mans, German Formula 3, Formula 3 European Cup and Procar BMW M1 Revival.

In the 1970s he served as team manager at the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft and the European Touring Car Championship. He headed the Ford team first, then BMW. In the 1980s he led the Sauber-Mercedes team, winning the Le Mans 24-hour race in 1989. Bibliography
