Piotr Zorin


Piotr Michajłowicz Zorin (born 1910 in the village of Kwaszkino in the district of Tarnów), was an officer of the Soviet security forces, one of the performers of the Katyn massacre.

He had basic education, from 1933 in Komsomol, from 1935 in NKVD, since 1935 guardian-supervisor of the Board of NKVD Kaliningrad. From May 1, 1938, the prisoner of the State Security Board (UGB) of the NKVD Board of the Kaliningrad Oblast, in the spring of 1940 he participated in a mass murder on the Polish prisoners of the Ostaszkow camp, for which on 26 October 1940 the People's Commissar of Internal Affairs Ławrientij Beria awarded him a monetary prize. In 1954 he supervised the 1st category of internal prison of the KGB board of the Kalinin Oblast at the level of senior sergeant. Honors Bibliography
