Luís Miguel Gubert de Morais Leitão (born 1964) - Portuguese politician, lawyer and manager, in 2015 Minister of Economy. Curriculum vitae

A graduate of law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, he also studied at Stanford University. He worked, among other things. in Banco Português de Investimento, he managed various companies included in the BPI. In the years 1996-2002 he managed the Portuguese branch of Allianz. He was also the president of several state-controlled enterprises (including Empordef and OGMA).

In the years 2004-2005 he was the secretary of state in the finance department. In 2007 he became part of the executive committee of the Democratic and Social Center - People's Party. In the first government of Pedra Passos Coelho he was the secretary of state - in 2011-2013 for European affairs, then until 2015 in the office of the deputy prime minister. From October to November 2015, he held the position of Minister of Economy in the second cabinet of the current Prime Minister.
