Końskie Żleb (Kondratowa Valley)
View of Giewont's creek from Kasprowy Wierch
Końskie Żleb - a gull in the south-east, slopes to the Kondratowa Valley slopes of Giewont in the Western Tatras. Its upper end is located in the lower part of the Meadows of the Great Expanse, below the Szczerby. The sink falls to the south-east and descends to the bottom of the valley on the threshold separating the Kondratowa Lake from Hell.
Końskie Rye is one of six named gulls descending from the Giewont massif to the Kondratowa Valley. In the direction from west to east are: Kurski Żleb, Świński Żleb, Końskie Żleb, Krówski Żleb, Suchy Żleb, Urwany Żleb. These are the most convenient access from the bottom of the Kondratowa Valley to the ridge of Giewont, because the avalanches are stripped of the weeds.
