Janusz from Uppsala (died in the 13th century) - a Polish Dominican, missionary, archbishop of Uppsala and the Primate of Sweden. Life

Janusz became a monk under the influence of Jacek Odrowąż - a charismatic Dominican priest from Silesia. He belonged to the group of his companions. He left with him to Sweden, where he decided to stay and evangelize the local population. He converted people to Christianity and built churches. He came to the dignity of the bishop and then the Primate of Sweden. He died in the opinion of sanctity and immediately after his death he developed his cult. In iconography, he is depicted in the Dominican habit, sometimes accompanied by Saint. Jack or as a bishop in the miter and with a pastor.
