SEATA (Sociedad Anónima Ecuatoriana de Transportes Aéreos) - a private air carrier operating in Ecuador from the 1960s to the 1990s. The collapse of the Ecuadorian economy caused that in February 2000 the lines ceased operations.

On August 15, 1976, belonging to SEATA, the Vickers Viscount airplane flying from Quito to Cuenca, with 59 people on board (55 passengers and 4 crew members), went missing. His footsteps were found only in February 2003, on the slopes of Chimborazo.
